Texas Tumbleweed and Dust Storm Family Road Trip Adventure We recently drove from Angel Fire, New Mexico to Dallas, Texas. We had a great time in Angel Fire (review to be posted soon). Our road trip with the kids to Dallas was somewhat of an adventure. We encountered winding, icy, mountainous roads, massive tumbleweed, high winds, a dust storm, and snow and ice with high winds. This summer many families are taking vacations. Vacations can be fun, but the tummy aches, not so much. As hard as you try, it's difficult to keep the same schedule and diet while traveling. Kids especially seem to be more sensitive to dietary and schedule changes. Their little stomaches are not use to eating certain foods or eating at different times of the day.
