Kiss Cookies with Peanut Butter
I love to make desserts any chance I can get. Backyard BBQ- dessert. Thanksgiving dinner- dessert. Christmas gathering- dessert. Any time we get together with friends or family- dessert. Basically, any reason for me to pull out my kitchen-aid mixer I will make cookies.
During the holidays, I love to make a variety of cookies and share them with our neighbors and friends.
I love Hershey Kiss Peanut Butter cookies because they’re delicious and I’m easily able to include the kids. Our children know no stranger, I think everyone in our neighborhood knows them.
So, sharing a dessert with them where the kids can help makes it more special.
I have a Pinterest board for desserts and another board named Chocolate – My Favorite Pinterest Board.
I love to make Chocolate Chip Cookies or Brownies because they are easy and quick, and I like to share cookies that will hold up well, or freeze well.
I already have a Kiss Cookie recipe without peanut butter that people love. This year I wanted to try a version of Hershey’s Kiss cookies with peanut butter.
These are also called thumbprint Hershey kiss cookies or Hershey drop cookies.
Recipe for Kiss Cookies
This is a quick and easy cookie recipe. Thanks to Halloween a few weeks ago, I already had all of the ingredients in the house.
I use Naked Nutrition Whey Protein and I love its minimal ingredients and natural taste. It's great in smoothies and has no artificial flavor like other brands. Highly recommend!
- Minimal ingredients, reducing unnecessary additives.
- Versatile usage in drinks and meals.
- Natural, non-overpowering flavor.
- Potential weight gain if consumed outside of workout routines.
- Packaging might give the illusion of less product due to powder settling.
- Limited flavor variety may require mixing with other flavors to avoid monotony.
The cookies tasted great. My family, friends, and neighbors all loved them. I will make these again, especially if I need a quick and easy treat to share.
While I am mixing the cookie dough, the kids unwrap all of the Hershey Kisses. This is the perfect job for their little hands.
Just make sure you have extra kisses on hand since more than a few will end up in their bellies.
Before you start making the kiss cookies, make sure you have butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, peanut butter, all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda, milk, and Hershey’s Kisses.
Kiss Cookies Recipe The Classic Peanut Butter Blossoms
For this Hershey’s kiss sugar cookies recipe, you’ll need a stand mixer. I personally use a Kitchen-Aid Mixer. If you don’t have a stand mixer, a hand mixer will do.

Variations
There are many different flavors you can add to this recipe to make it unique. I have used an over-ripe banana to give add a little extra sweetness to this particular recipe.
If you have cocoa powder on hand, you can easily make the cookie dough chocolate by adding 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
You can add an extra bit of sweetness to these cookies by rolling the cookie balls in granulated sugar before placing them on the cookie sheet.
Allergy Friendly Options
If you or someone you know is allergic to peanuts, you will want to avoid this specific recipe.
However, I have made some tweaks to this recipe removing the peanut butter. The nut-free kiss cookies are as easy to make and just as delicious.
