Adulting can be hard. There are so many things we need to take care of. As a young or middle-aged adult it can sometimes be overwhelming maintaining our health, our home, and more.
As we get older, it can become increasingly difficult to manage all of these responsibilities. It is even harder if someone has a medical condition. For this reason, it is important that older adults find a Medicare Advantage plan that can help them take care of their whole self and thrive day-to-day.
New Medicare Health and Wellness Services for 2020
Starting in 2020, in addition to the wonderful programs already in place like healthy food delivery, health-related transportation services, adult day center visits to help reduce loneliness, personal home helpers to help with daily activities at home and alternative medicine, Amerigroup will add even more benefits to many of their Medicare Advantage health plans. This includes access to new services such as nutrition support and counseling, service dog support, and pest control.
Since enrollment ends December 7, 2019, Medicare eligible individuals should act now. These enhanced plans lower more barriers and make it so much easier to take care of everyday health and wellness needs. When individuals are given the option of wellness services that address whole-person health it can make a big difference to their overall health and happiness.

I’ve discussed in the past how important it is to me to make sure my parents are able to choose the best options for their health and wellness. Thankfully, we are an active family and they can still participate in travel, events, and fun activities. If the time ever comes that they need additional help, I’m relieved to know there are some great options available.
