Surfing at South Beach, Miami
South Beach Miami has the best beaches to visit for those looking for surfing opportunities. South Beach is one of the most popular and famous stretches of Miami Beach. Its iconic city backdrop makes for the perfect scenery whilst enjoying the perfect surfing waves it has to offer.
There is plenty of space to choose from a mixture of different size waves for different abilities. Waves can reach quite high on South Beach, meaning there is enough to keep even the most skilled surfers entertained.
You’ve eaten dehydrated fruit, and it’s still real fruit. Earth Breeze Laundry Sheets are along the same lines. They’re actual laundry detergent but made in eco-friendly sheets. They’re just dehydrated laundry sheets that come in cardboard envelopes.
On the windier days, the waves can reach quite high so surfing might be best left to those with more advanced skills. However, on calmer days, there are lessons available for beginners, making it a great place to learn to surf.
Haulover Beach
Haulover beach is a beautiful beach situated north of Miami Beach. It has picturesque white sands and blue waters, making it a great place for a relaxing trip out for a surf. There are also tennis courts and golf courses available to use too.
Parking is free, so you can visit for as long as you please. Again, there is schooling available for new surfers at this beach if you’re looking to build up your surfing skills. Clothing at this beach is optional, so it might not be the right choice for a family day out.
Boynton Beach
Boynton Beach has plenty on offer to keep you entertained. As well as the great surfing opportunities on the beach, it’s a short walk to some great shopping, entertainment, and restaurants to choose from too making it a great family location to visit.
The beach itself, however, is relatively quiet, so it’s good for those looking to avoid the crowds. The look of the beach is like something from a tropical paradise, making it a perfect, peaceful location for a day out on the sea.
This beach is a good option for those that would like the choice between the peace and calm of a quitter beach but also have the option to venture into the city and all it has to offer. It’s best to surf here during the low tide and check conditions ahead of time to decide whether it’s the right day for surfing as the tide can be unpredictable.
Spoils
Located in Fort Lauderdale, Spoils is a great choice for more experienced and highly skilled surfers. Due to the more difficult surfing conditions caused by more turbulent weather, this beach receives fewer visitors than some of the other options we have covered, meaning it is perfect if you also want to avoid busy and crowded areas while surfing.
Make sure to check out the weather conditions ahead of time before you visit Spoils to help your better prepare for your surf.
