Easy Homemade French Bread

You likely already have the 5 ingredients in your pantry. 

In the bowl of a stand mixer combine Flour, Yeast, Sugar, and Salt.

Add Water and mix for 3 minutes using the dough hook

If the dough is sticky- continue to add Flour 1 Tbsp at a time until a workable dough forms

Transfer dough to a floured work surface

Knead for 1-2 minutes

Return dough to bowl- cover and let it rise for 45-60 minutes

Punch dough down- transfer to floured work surface

Roll Dough out using a rolling pin

Roll dough in to a loaf

Transfer to a baking sheet, cover, and rise for 45 minutes

Bake and serve warm.
