Cherries are in season! It's the perfect time to make homemade Jam

Start with washing and sterilizing your canning jars.

Clean jars prevent bacteria from growing

Wash, dry, pit your cherries and cut them in half

Mix together Cherries and Lemon Juice in a deep pot

Mash cherries and cook for 5 minutes

Add sugar, mix and heat on low until sugar dissolves

Boil for approximately 10 minutes stirring continuously

When jam is ready, carefully fill jars

Tightly seal the jars with lids. Then flip the jars upside down to cool

Allow jam to cool completely before storing in the fridge for use.

Use jam to top toast or pancakes for the perfect breakfast.
