Homemade Sports Drinks - DIY Gatorade Alternative

It's hot out!  When you are exercising it's important to get electrolytes.

Store bought Gatorade has a lot of sugar and artificial ingredients. Gatorade is also expensive.

I wanted a homemade electrolyte drink so I looked into creating a DIY Gatorade.

Step 1 – Juice a lemon and lime.  Remove any pulp and seeds.

Step 2 – Add lemon juice, lime juice, honey, sea salt and water to any container with a tight fitting lid.

Step 3 – Shake until honey and salt are dissolved.

Step 4 – Chill in the refrigerator.

That's it.  You're done.  It's that easy.
