How To Help You Kids  Grow Up Healthy

As parents of 3 children aged 5 and under we are constantly thinking about how we can help our kids grow up healthy

Tip 1:  Grocery Shop Together

This gives them a chance to learn about value, trade offs, and curbing impulse buys

Tip 2:  Cook Together

We love cooking with our kids.  It's a wonderful bonding experience and teaches them amazing life skills

Tip 3:  Make Healthy Meals

Cooking healthy meals helps your children learn how to eat right.  It gets more veggies/fruit on their plate.  It also saves you a lot of money.

Tip 4:  Eat As A Family

Sitting down for meals with your family not only helps you eat a better meal but gives everyone a chance to bond

Tip 5:  Water Intake

Adults struggle to find ways to drink more water.   Help your kids get in the habit of staying hydrated.

Tip 6:  Exercise!

Get out and play!  Plan activities that get your family moving.  Hikes, walks, bike rides, whatever.  Just move...together.

Tip 7:  Be A Role Model

You are a role model.  Your children are learning so much from you.  Be nice, exercice, and eat healthy.  They'll grow up and do the same.
