Easy Ways to Clean and Polish Silver using stuff you have around the house

With Vinegar:

Soak silver items in a mix of vinegar and baking soda for 3 hours. Polish with soft cloth

With Aluminum Foil

Line sink with aluminum foil. Place silver on top. Add baking soda. Cover with  hot water. Soak and polish

With Toothpaste:

Using a  toothbrush, rub toothpaste (not gel) into the silver. Rinse with warm water.

With Coke:

This method is best for coins. Soak and rinse, and the tarnish disappears.

With Ketchup:

Cover silver with Ketchup. Rinse with soapy water and massage the ketchup away. Dry with a soft towel

Acidity eats away at the tarnish that can build up over time on silver. 

Store Silver in a anti-tarnish bag to slow oxidation
