Why You (Probably) Do Not Need Life Insurance

Whole life insurance is only a good investment if you understand its purpose and use it correctly.

Unfortunately most people don't understand Whole Life Insurance.

The younger you are the more you need life insurance.

Many people get this backwards

That is because when you are young you are still accumulating wealth to leave behind.

It's also less expensive when you are young because the odds are lower that there will need to be a payout.

As you get older, life insurance is needed less.

Presuming you have built up your asset base.

It's a see saw.  When you are young you don't have assets so life insurance is needed

Then the see saw tilts.  As you age you have assets so you don't need life insurance.

Oftentimes the best hedge is term life insurance.
