What To Teach Kids About Money: An Expert Weighs In

I retired last year at age 42 from my career in Financial Services.

At the time we had a 4 year old and two 2 year old twins.

We still have them, but now they are older.

As a Chartered Financial Analyst, I'd like to share thoughts about what to teach kids about money.

At what age should parents start talking to kids about money?

It's never too early for parents to start talking to their kids about money.

Step 1:  Build A Foundation Early

The best way to teach kids about money, and about anything is to realize you are their role model.

Practice good habits.  Explain to them why you do what you do with your money.

...even if they are bad choices.
