This is a sponsored post on behalf of Woot! about the 15th birthday shenanigans. All content and opinions are my own.
Last week Woot not only had amazing deals, but there were lots of fun events that went along with them. Here’s the recap.
Reminiscing about Woot Birthday Shenanigans 2019
The Woot Birthday Shenanigans started out with Deal-O-Meter, where customers vote with a chance to lower the product price. The product listed was a computer messenger bag and enough people voted to lower the price. I hope some of you were able to take advantage of that deal. If not, then there are many other deals on bags and cases here.
Totally Fun Pricing
Next, there was Woot’s Totally Fun Pricing. Products launched with a price of just $1 and went up from there. If you were lucky, then you could buy something for just a dollar. I had been looking for a new computer mouse and was able to grab one for only one dollar.
Woot-Off, Bags of Crap, and Woot Locker
July 12 was a busy day for Woot. There were lots of deal events happening.
During the Woot-Off lots of products were listed with limited quantities and they went fast! I saw some vacuum cleaners, kitchen products, and more.
Bags of Crap
Only a few times a year does Woot sell these bags of random items. It’s a big deal and they are often hard to get.
See the unboxing of our Woot Bag of Crap below. We did a Facebook Live unboxing.
Woot Locker Livestream
Straight from Woot’s junk drawers, came the Woot Locker with a myriad of items they found lying around. In order to find out what Woot put in each box, you had to watch the Woot Twitch stream. The price for each empty box started at $10,000 and as new items were added the price reduced. I saw boxes sell for around $200 – $500+. I recognized many of the items from the Bag of Crap and Woot deals during the week.
Fun with George Takei
Also on July 12, we got to have some fun with George Takei. He stopped by to ask a few riddles and when they were answered correctly, Woot released more Bags of Crap.
What We Got from Woot
There were a lot of great deals last week and I wish I could have gotten them all. I’m really happy about getting a new computer mouse for just $1.
My husband and I love Saucony shoes and when the deal popped up the other day, we got shoes for him, me, and my son.
Recently, as a deal of the day, we scored a refurbished Ring doorbell that was in excellent condition. It didn’t look like it had been used or touched before.
We had a great time opening this most recent Bag of Crap. Last year, we got a BOC and were excited to have another one this year. In this bag, we had a few repeats from last year, which we were happy about. Some of the items in our Bag of Crap included a Star Wars glass, clip-on flashlight, Angry Birds balls, a screwdriver set, waterproof thermal gloves, a pearl necklace, screaming monkeys, compression foot sleeve, and more.
Even if you missed the deals last week, as a reminder, Woot still has great daily deals and discounts on all types of products that you can find on their website or through the Woot app. Download the app and sign up here.
