The world’s largest online retailer, Amazon, revealed plans for “a new two-day global shopping event .”The event, known as Prime Early Access Deal, is comparable to Prime Day.

Amazon is not alone 

Target and Walmart recently announced their promotions before the holiday spending season.

This year, Target is running its Deal Days promotion from October 6–8, as opposed to October 10–12 last year. The Minneapolis-based store has revealed intentions to hire 100,000 seasonal workers to prepare for the holiday shopping season.

Overstock announced Overstock Day will take place Oct. 2–3.

Walmart has yet to announce if it will have a deals day event similar to Target and Amazon. Instead, they recently revealed intentions to extend its window for returning holiday sales items, scheduled from Oct. 1 to Jan. 31.
