Over the last few years, I have been trying harder to limit the harsh chemicals that come into our house. I enjoy making my own homemade household products such as body scrubs and dryer sheets. In the past, I have tried purchasing green cleaning products, but they have been too expensive, hard to find, or smelly.

Recently, I have started using green cleaning products from Art of Green®.  They sent me a few different products to test and I have been using them all over the house as well as outside.

How I use Art of Green Cleaning Products

Here’s the thing, I love a clean house, but I’d rather spend my time doing fun things instead of cleaning.  To save time, I keep a small set of cleaning products in each of the bathrooms and the kitchen. This includes cleaning wipes and an all-purpose spray.

I use the wipes to quickly clean the counters after each use and an all-purpose spray every few days for a more thorough cleaning.  Having a set of cleaning products in each room makes clean-up easier and faster.

So far, I have used Art of Green wipes and spray in my kitchen, bathroom, and outdoors.

After cooking a messy meal of stuffed peppers, I used the spray with a cloth to clean the countertops and sink. The splatters and food particles cleaned up very easily. I only need to wipe down the counters once.  With some cleaners, I have to go over the same spot several times.

I’m a pretty messy cook.  Somehow, when I bake, flour gets everywhere. This spray comes in handy for use after cooking and baking and for my thorough cleanings.

When the weather is nice, we love to hang out outside and eat dinner on our patio. I used the wipes and the spray to clean the outside table. Chewie, our dog, was outside while I was cleaning and I liked the fact that I didn’t have to worry about his exposure to toxic cleaning products.

For a quick bathroom cleaning, I used the wipes on our counters and showers.  Having a set of Art of Green wipes in each bathroom and the kitchen will help me save time when I do the daily wipedowns.

When I get around to cleaning our floors, which should be sooner, rather than later, I will use the concentrated formula mixed with water to remove all of those footprints, dirt, and more from the kids and pets.

I can also use the concentrated formula on the toilets, tubs, and showers.

It’s great having one product with lots of different uses.  I no longer need to have a separate cleaner for the kitchen counters, sinks, floors, toilets, and even windows.  Art of Green will clean all of these surfaces!
