Detachable Jeans Trend? Ugly or Cool?
So, a few months ago these Clear Knee Mom Jeans from Nordstrom were getting a lot of attention. The description boasted slick plastic panels that bare your knees for a futuristic feel. Not only that, they are tapered and cropped high-waist jeans, the ultimate mom jeans. Now, to top those, we now have the detachable jeans trend.
Detachable Jeans Trend? Convertible Jorts? Ugly or Cool?
Just when I thought I’d seen it all, along came these Detachable Jeans from Open Ceremony. These are detachable jeans that can be turned into shorts. So, you get two pieces for the price of one! Rather than the mom style jeans with clear knees, these detachable jeans are straight-leg and slim fitting. The slim fitting should hopefully come in handy when you are exposing that much skin!
If you really want a pair of these hot convertible jorts (jeans that turn into shorts), you should hurry. It looks like there is only one size left, size 40. Maybe the company will restock soon. The price is $425.
I was hoping to find some reviews. I would love to know who is buying these, where they are wearing them, and how comfortable these detachable jeans really are.
Who is the target market for detachable jeans?
Who is the target market for these? I would guess they are not aimed at the suburban moms like me. Then, let’s say to do get these detachable jeans, what do you pair them with? Who has one of these body suits laying around the house? I’m thinking maybe these would go well with a bikini top at the beach. And next, what shoes does one wear with these pants that turn into shorts? Do you wear sandals or boots? I know! So many questions. This just puzzles me. These are intriguing.
If you happened to have been one the lucky ones to get your hands on a pair of these trendy detachable jeans, then I would love to know, how are you wearing them? I would like to see some pics!
