For anyone with an active lifestyle, you know how important good, quality clothes are. A bad pair or leggings or socks can make for a painful run. In addition, an uncomfortable outfit can cause an uncomfortable yoga experience. Since I workout often with Camp Gladiator and was training for the 3M Half Marathon, I was thrilled when Fabletics reached out to me for a review.
About Fabletics
Before trying Fabletics, I had heard of the brand and seen the advertisements but did not know much about it. Together with Kate Hudson, TechStyle Fashion Group Co-CEOs, Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg, launched Fabletics in 2013. They had noticed a lack of high quality, stylish, affordable gear in the activewear marketplace. Now, Fabletics offers clothing to inspire you to stay active and “Live Your Passion.”
Choosing an Outfit
Because there were so many choices, I had a hard time picking out just one top and one bottom. Ultimately, I decided on the High-Waisted Mesh Powerhold Leggings and Lana Tank. I liked the look of both of these products and after reading the details and reviews on the website, I had made my decision.
Taking the Fabletics Outfit on a Test Drive
Before, my big run, I wanted to take my new Fabletics outfit on a test drive. In 39 degree weather, I went for a run in the neighborhood. Before the run, I was worried the pants would not be warm enough because of the mesh. But, the leggings kept me warm, without being overly hot. When I started the run, I had a long sleeved top over my tank, but during the run, I removed the outer shirt. The Lana tank was comfortable and not too constricting.
The Ultimate Test: Fabletics for a Half Marathon
Then, it came time for the ultimate test. On Sunday, I wore my new Fabletics outfit for the half marathon. During the 13.1 miles, this outfit kept me comfortable and dry and I looked stylish running through the streets of Austin.
Buying Clothing from Fabletics
The clothes from Fabletics would be great for those running marathons, but also wonderful for mellow yoga classes. Head over to the Fabletics website and look at all of the choices! You do not have to have a membership to purchase items. Although, having a membership will give you significant discounts. If you are having a hard time choosing an outfit, then take the quick lifestyle quiz to get personalized outfit picks for you and your workouts.
Overall Fabletics Review
Overall, I love my Fabletics outfit and would recommend it to others. If you have any questions about Fabletics or the outfit I chose, then let me know.
