Free Flights for Kids Interested in Aviation
As part of The EAA Young Eagles program kids (ages 8-17) can fly in a general aviation airplane. The EAA member volunteers provide these free flights for kids.
Click Here to find the closest volunteer pilot to take kids on free airplane flights.
During the free flights, the pilot will describe the interior of the airplane, including the instrument panel. The flights last about 15 to 20 minutes. After the flight, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about flying and the particular airplane.
