This is a sponsored post on behalf of CanvasChamp about how we updated our mantel with a photo canvas print.
Since 2010, we have had the same decor on our mantel. In preschool, when the kids were ages two and four, we bought a print of their school photo and it has been on the mantel ever since. Our mantel needed a facelift and I had started looking at some mantel decor ideas and fireplace decor.
Here’s what our mantel looked like since 2010.
Recently, CanvasChamp reached out to me to see if I’d like to order a canvas print. It was great timing as I was starting to look for home decor ideas for our mantel.
I liked the idea of transforming our memories into a high-end, UV-protected, waterproof custom canvas print. CanvasChamp offers gallery-wrapped canvases in sizes from 5 x 7 inches to 54 x 54 inches. The canvas prints have wooden frames /stretcher bars from sustainable pine forests and the hanging hardware is preinstalled. These canvases are ready to hang out of the box. You can use them as fireplace decor, hang them on the walls, and lots of other uses.
Getting a Good Picture of the Kids
It took me a while to get a good picture of my kids together. Parents, you know what I mean, right? I only have two kids, but it’s so hard to get a good picture where they are both smiling, the lighting is good, and they have no dirt or stains on their clothes.
I finally got a good picture of the kids on our trip to Tuscon over Winter Break, so I used that for our canvas print.
Fireplace Mantel Decor Idea: Updating our Mantel with a Photo Canvas Print
It was really easy to order the 16×20 canvas print. Within a matter of minutes, I was able to customize our canvas print.
Today, our canvas arrived. It was nicely packaged, so it stayed secure and unharmed during shipping.
Look how much better our mantel looked after I replaced the old photo with this beautiful canvas.
All the good you can eat! Crush your fruit + veg goals with high-quality, low-maintenance, really good food—built on organic ingredients.
I decided the canvas needed different fireplace decor next to it. So, I brought over these two wall art pieces we already in a different spot in the house.
What do you think of our new mantel decor?
I think our mantel looks a lot better now.
