First, I started with a layer of Greek yogurt. Then, I added plain quinoa. In addition, you could add some spices and sweetener like I did in my Quinoa Yogurt Parfait. Personally, I thought the plain quinoa went well with all the various other flavors. Next, I added some almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and berries. For fun, and aesthetic purposes, I added a little bit of spinach.
Not only was this quinoa breakfast bowl oh so colorful, it was also super yummy! The combination of flavors was delicious. This protein-packed breakfast bowl is a great way to start your mornings or even perk up your afternoons.
For a variety, you can substitute or add many different things to your quinoa breakfast bowl. Experiment with various fruits and nuts. Consider adding some hemp seeds or chia seeds. Have fun!
