Prepare the area: Clear the surrounding area of any obstacles or tripping hazards. Cover any delicate plants or items that may be affected by the spray from the pressure washer.
Gather necessary equipment: You will need a pressure washer, power washer nozzle, safety gloves, and safety goggles for protection.
Attach the power washer to a garden hose and the extension wand.
Turn on the power washer, starting from the lowest pressure, and aim it at the gutter's interior. Be sure to avoid any electrical boxes and unsecured wires.
Test the pressure washer: Before beginning, test the pressure washer on an inconspicuous area to make sure it is set to the appropriate pressure and can effectively clean without damaging the surface.
Start spraying: Stand a safe distance away from the gutter and hold the power washer nozzle at a 45-degree angle. Move the nozzle closer to the gutter as needed to remove debris and build-up.
Move systematically: Work systematically, moving along the length of the gutter, to ensure that you clean thoroughly. Pay special attention to any challenging areas, such as corners and elbows.
Move the wand along your gutters to remove dirt and debris smoothly. Adjust power output pressure if needed to keep debris flowing.
When done, move down the ladder and clean the debris from the ground with a rake or a broom.
