This is an exciting time of year for many families. As families decorate trees and kids make their wish lists, it is important to remember that there are also many families that cannot afford to decorate or buy gifts for Christmas.

To make it even easier to participate in Toys for Tots, Amazon kicked off Giving Tuesday with a new, easy way to donate toys. Amazon customers can now use Alexa to donate a toy to a child in need. Amazon makes toy donation so easy.  First, use your Echo or other Alexa enabled device to say, “Alexa, donate to Toys for Tots.” Then, Alexa recommends a gift from the Toys for Tots charity list.  Finally, confirm your purchase and Amazon handles the rest.  It’s that easy!

In addition, Amazon is matching customer donations through the end of the year. For every Amazon customer donated toy, Amazon will also donate a toy.

Changing the Way We Give

Amazon is changing the way we give to charity as this is the first time that customers can donate a product to a charity via voice shopping. This is exciting because it makes it even easier for people to help those in need.
