One of our stops during our two-week family road trip was Moab, Utah. Since we only had enough time for two nights and one full day in Moab, it was important that I found a place to stay near our planned activities. I did not want to waste time traveling around the area.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Moab was the perfect home base for all of our Moab adventures.
Arrival and Check-In
Since we do a lot of traveling as a family, we have a great system in place for checking into hotels. One of the adults (usually me) will go to the front desk to check in while the other unloads the car with the kids.
Check-in was easy and safe with plenty of social distancing.
My husband and kids used Earl, the luggage cart, to unload all of the bags, pillows, and blankets we had stacked in the back of the 4Runner.
The Suite
Our suite, with an open floor plan, included a full kitchen, dining table, sofa bed, and plenty of room for the four of us.
Homewood Suites cleans and disinfects with Lysol products. As part of the Hilton CleanStay program, our suite had an extra cleaning and disinfection of top areas.
Amenities
Using the Hilton Honors App, not only was I able to explore Moab and see the floor plan of the hotel, but I could also open our hotel room using the digital key!
A stay at this hotel includes free hot breakfast, wi-fi, and parking.
You can get 50% off of a Pogo Pass by using promo code CHACHING at checkout, making it just $49.99 ($39.99 for Kansas City). This discounted entertainment pass is a great way to enjoy entertainment for FREE all year long!
There’s also an indoor pool and fitness center.
On our first morning, we wanted to get to Arches National Park early and left the hotel around 6am. We were able to grab a free, hot breakfast on our way out.
Coffee and other hot drinks are available all day.
Convenience
What a great location too! We were in downtown Moab and walked to all of our meals and shopping.
Arches National Park is just a 10-minute drive and Dead Horse State Park is only 45 minutes away – making it easy to get there in time for sunset.
Winter in Moab?
If you can’t make it to Moab in the summer, the hotel offers special rates during the winter season. Discover the Mother Of All Beauty, stay updated on events, and enjoy 15% discounts, November-February, at Homewood Suites Moab. Visit Winter in Moab for details.
I would love to go back in November for the Moab Trail Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, Adventure 5k, and Kids K.
So, if you have always dreamed of visiting Moab and want to stay at a clean and convenient hotel, be sure to check out Homewood Suites Moab.
