After having breast cancer, I am more concerned about living a healthy life. This includes taking good care of my skin. As I get older, I am starting to notice more fine lines and now look for products that protect my skin as well as improve my appearance. I was given the opportunity to try Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair with Retinol, the #1 Dermatologist recommended anti-aging ingredient. The task including trying the anti-aging cream and keeping a 7-day photo diary. Here is my Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair 7-day photo diary sponsored post. Be sure to check out the giveaway at the end of this post.
About Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair
Before I try a new product, I like to do a little bit of research about what I’m going to put on or in my body. I had heard of Retinol before and knew about its ability to help fight the signs of aging. What I didn’t know, is that Retinol provides cumulative improvements in the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, tone, and texture even after one year of continuous use. That means, you’ll continue to see your skin improve even if you’ve been using Retinol for a while.
Since exposure to UVA rays can cause fine lines and wrinkles, many dermatologists recommend using a combination of broad-spectrum sunscreen for prevention and Retinol for repair. Luckily, Neutrogena offers products with a combination of SPF and Retinol that are effective in fighting and preventing wrinkles, but also gentle to your skin.
As 38 year-old mom who spends time outdoors and has had some stress in my life, I of course have some fine lines and wrinkles along with some sun damage. I was excited to get a product that would protect my skin and also help minimize some of my crinkles.
Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair with Anti-Aging Retinol – 7 Day Photo Diary
To keep track of skin improvement, Neutrogena asked me to keep a 7-day photo diary of my use of the Rapid Wrinkle Repair and Ultra Sheer collections.  I have used Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer and the other products now for more than 7 days.  I liked them so much, I continued using it past the 7 days.  Now, I’m on day 10.
My skin tends to be sensitive, but I did not have any problems using this moisturizer.  At first, I felt a little tingling around the outer sides of my eyes, but I did not encounter any redness or itching. The lotion is smooth and easy to spread.  You only need a pea sized amount to cover your whole face.
For all of my pictures, I used the same iPhone camera and did not wear any makeup. Â I did not use any filters or do any retouching. Here are my day 1 and day 7 pictures next to each other for comparison.
And, here is a comparison of my day 1 and day 10 pictures.
If you are curious about the daily changes after using Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer and Ultra Sheer collections take a look at my Anti-aging 7 Day Photo Diary.  I noticed a difference in just those 7 days.  The furrow line on my forehead between my eyes is less pronounced.  I think the lines on the top of my forehead and around my eyes have improved also.  In addition, I think I notice a difference in the tone and texture after just a few days of use.
