Our Experience: With Swagbucks Surveys

While most survey sites won’t pay you a ton of money, it makes up for that by offering regular opportunities to earn gift cards or other rewards. Swagbucks surveys are slightly above average compared to the sites we have tested.

Your Survey Profile questions are simple and easy to answer. They’re short surveys that take just a few minutes each day and usually finish quickly. Sometimes they have a small points value, but most of the time, they’ll only earn you about five points per survey.

The Peanut Lab Survey was a little tricky. We did try signing up for a Seventh Generation sample, but it was unclear if this was an offer or something else, and there seemed no apparent end.

Peanut Lab was a waste of time for us. You must complete the questionnaire and accept an offer at the end of the survey. It is possible to sign up for some programs to get your rewards, but since we have yet to receive any SBs, it wasn’t worth it.

Survey profile questions and daily polls are worth it. They are quick and easy. Peanut Lab surveys were more confusing and time-consuming.

Magic Rceipts is nice if you have one place where you usually shop. It will scan your receipt and show you all the bonuses and deals you can get at that store.

This is a great feature, and we plan to use it more often. A drawback is we do most of our shopping on Amazon. But for our brick and morter purchases it’s a great feature to save. You do need to remember to print out the receipt and take a high-quality picture of it.

To maximize your cash back, you also need to understand the offers before shopping. This research takes time, and then it’s cumbersome to find in stores exactly what it is you need to buy for the cash back. It greatly helps if you “favorite” stores you shop at the most.

Swagbucks Discover

Swagbucks Discover helps you earn SB for trying a new product or service, signing up for a trial, and donating to charities. You can also download mobile apps and watch videos.

Offers are similar to Peanut Lab surveys, but more often than not, they’re quicker and easier to complete since no links are involved. Also, the companies that have a partnership with Swagbucks post these offers. While some of these offers need you to make a transaction, others only ask for a sign-up.

Cashback offers and surveys often pay out within days or even immediately, while many Discover Offers look to take a month or more to come through. We advise waiting until you get that confirmation email before you do much else.

Our Experience With Swagbucks Discover

These might be a good fit for you if you’re hoping to find some deal or discount. But again, they’re generally the same as the offers that come through the Peanut Labs app.
