Replacing Battery in MyQ Remote Garage Door Sensor

Ingredients

  • 1 Chamberlain myQ-G0302 myQ-GO302 Smart Garage Hub Add-On Door Senso Black
  • 1 Chamberlain MYQ-G0402 Garage-Door-Sensors, White White
  • CR2450 button battery

Instructions

  • Look closely at the black sensor. On the top edge, you’ll see a small ridge, that’s your key to opening it.

  • Simply press down on that ridge. No need to force it, it’s designed to pop open easily.

  • Once you press, the sensor casing will neatly pop apart. No tools, no prying, no damage.

  • Carefully remove the old battery. It should slide right out.

  • Take your new battery and insert it positive (+) side up. This is crucial, otherwise, it won’t power up.

  • Line up the two halves of the sensor and snap it back together.
