Thanks to funding from the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF), the library is set to distribute 1,000 Chromebooks, each with an internet connection, to eligible residents.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal program that provides a discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying low-income consumers.

In addition to internet access The Affordable Connectivity Program also offers a one-time free laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. It’s actually a discount to apply towards the computer.
