Lately, I have been looking for ways to add more protein to my diet. Since chickpeas are a great source of protein I decided to try making some roasted chickpeas. These crunchy, spicy, oven roasted chickpeas are great on their own as a snack or added to recipes. To make your meals a little more fun and interesting, this roasted chickpeas recipe has a little bit of a kick.
In order to save the roasted chickpeas for later, you can store the crispy chickpeas in either a baggie or container for a few days at room temperature.
After I made these roasted chickpeas, I added them to my spaghetti squash. Â Wow! Â The combination of textures and flavors was delicious.
