How to make the best homemade fudge ever and then turn it into the best s’mores you make at home without a campfire.
Over the years, I have gotten many compliments on this fudge recipe. At Christmas, I made some for the teachers and my son’s teacher raved about how good it was.
First I made the fudge.
Homemade Fudge Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons unsalted stick butter
- 3 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups of milk chocolate chips (or any other type of chips… semisweet, white chocolate, etc.)
Line a loaf pan or baking pan with parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray.
In a saucepan heat sugar, salt, butter, marshmallow, and whipping cream on medium heat until everything is just about melted.
Then, keep on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in the vanilla and chocolate chips.
Once the chips are completely melted and mixed in, pour into your parchment paper pan. Depending on the thickness, let cool about 2 – 4 hours.

Now for the fun part….
Once you know how to make fudge you can now make the best dessert ever… Fudge S’mores.
Line a pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. On the bottom, place one layer of graham crackers.
Then, sprinkle a layer of mini marshmallows. Cover with the hot fudge from the saucepan.
Finally, add another layer of graham crackers. If the fudge is not hot enough to melt the marshmallows, you can place the pan (if microwave safe) in the microwave for about 10=15 seconds.
Let cool for about an hour. Then cut into squares. Yum!
